The adoption of synchronous electrical machines would be a great advantage since it allows easier mapping control of the motor mode and generator mode (regeneration), is one of the most efficient machines designed by man and, on the other, hand there is a potential untapped market instead of induction motors (AC) or permanent magnet motors (PMs) as these machines are best suited for intermediate power systems.
